Hand tended by our master organic farmer in the fertile and volcanic soils of Kagoshima, this outstanding matcha has a sophisticated nuance to its flavour that I haven't experienced from any other grower. 

For refined palettes, Maison Maizen Imperial Harvest is an best-in-class matcha with a distinctively unique flavour profile. Sweet and silky, its rich hazelnut tones are complemented with a deep umami finish.

Harvested from the Seimei cultivar from the field shown in the images. Yields are extremely limited and we are honoured to be the only Australian partner for this producer and their truly superior matcha. 

As with all of our Maison Maizen matcha, this Sakura Sunrise is Single-Estate and Spring Harvest from a multi-generational certified organic farm that only harvests once a year in the spring.

While most matcha is blended from multiple cultivars and farms to achieve a uniform flavour, we choose a different path. At Maison Maizen, we honour purity and simplicity, allowing the beauty of nature and the deep wisdom, skill, and dedication of our farmers to shine through.
