Maison Maizen is thrilled to present you with our limited edition exquisite hand crafted custom ceramic matcha bowl. 

Maison Maizen collaborated with local West Australian ceramicist Victoria Paxton who designed this beautiful and functional art piece especially for us – and you!

Victoria is quickly gaining recognition for her feminine and sensual creations. Each bowl is shaped entirely by hand using traditional coiling techniques. This slow, intentional process allows for thoughtful refinement of form, texture and balance.

Each piece takes approximately 3 hours to create and then dries slowly and evenly over the course of 10 days. Following this it is fired twice, with glazing done between the firings to achieve the final finish. It truly is a remarkable labor of love.
